Research and analytics consultancy
Forschungswerk Analytics offers data science, analytics, and scientific research support. We empower organizations to make data-driven decisions, and we support researchers with study design, statistical analysis, and publication.
A trend line illustration.
Services
We work across three main areas.
We help organizations transform data into insights. Unit analysis and analytics over time.
We support research projects from design through to analysis, working with research teams, labs, and researchers.
We review academic work, including the methods, the statistics, and results presentation.
Clients
We work with two kinds of clients.
Companies, public bodies, and non-profits that need answers from their data but don't have an in-house data science team.
We can take on a specific project, or work as an ongoing analytics resource. When a project ends, we hand over the code and documentation so your team can keep using it.
Academics, graduate students, and researchers who require assistance with methods, statistics, and getting a manuscript ready.
We document our contribution, whether that means an acknowledgement or co-authorship.
How we work
Most projects follow the same four stages.
We start by getting clear on what you need to know and what a good answer would look like.
We look at what data you have, where the gaps are, and what it can reasonably tell us.
We choose appropriate methods, run the analysis, and check the results.
We explain what we found in plain language and hand over the work behind it so it can be checked or repeated.
About
Forschung: research. Werk: works, or workshop.
It means something close to "research works". We think of analysis as a work that is built step by step.
Objective results backed by data.
Every result comes with the code and notes behind it, so it can be reproduced.
Our reports are meant to be understood by people who are not statisticians.
We promise you results that are grounded in science.
